  • San Juan launched its free summer trolley on Friday, June 9. It will operate Friday through Sunday: 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays through Labor Day, running a loop every 20 minutes. You can ride a loop and get photos of people and places. Some residents may use it to get to the beach without a car, as it shares a stop with Dana Point's free trolley, which also began Friday, June 9. Or people staying at hotels in Laguna or Dana Point may hop onto Dana Point's trolley and connect to San Juan's to visit the mission, Los Rios Street or other attractions without having to hunt for parking downtown.
